There are several ways to save money during the festive season. One of them is through doing festive shopping early enough. At least when the season is not so close, things have not gotten expensive yet. Now is the right time to buy clothes, decorations and gifts for that festive season.
You can also save through bulk shopping during the festive season. Buying foods, gifts, decorations and other things in bulk makes the price lesser than buying in small quantities. You can even buy bulk in wholesales as those are cheaper than retail buying several things.
Another way is to celebrate in groups. Each individual or family can contribute towards a festive season kitty that will serve the whole group. I find group celebrations to be much cheaper because of cost sharing.
