Why you should stop a job that pays low

I have been a victim, I worked in a firm that paid very low, I managed it as far as I was able to settle some important bills at the end of the month, but after some break I discovered I had no savings or means of surviving like a normal person, then it occurred to me I had made a big mistake. Would you keep working in a firm like this and how long?

A low-paying job can make sense temporarily if it’s helping you survive or gain experience, but if after some time you still can’t save or improve your situation, it starts costing you more than it’s giving. I’d keep it only while actively looking for something better or building another income stream on the side, and set a deadline for myself. Staying too long can trap you in a cycle where you’re always busy but never moving forward.

I don’t like or recommend one resigning from a job no matter how low paging it is when you are yet to secure another one. if you don’t even enjoy the little things you can get from the low pay, you should be happy that your dignity as a human Is intact as a human. You would feel even worse when you don’t even have a source of income at all
You might even hate yourself because you might be feeling like failure.

But such individual should not totally quit search job if he or she haven’t look for another yet, because having a job that pays you, even though not remarkably is better than not even having a job at all.

Most times people find themselves in this kind of job and they remain not cause they want to but simply because they do not have a choice. These days it is extremely hard to secure a job in general, not to mention a high paying job. Most people tend to use connections or simply pay their way through to secure these jobs. Anyone working in a job that pays low, i would advice them to only leave the job when they have been able to secure a new job for themselves. It would be so painful to leave your current low paying job, only to go back to becoming jobless.
