If your Palmcredit loan application is stuck on “under review” for days, it could be due to several reasons:

    1. System Overload: Palmcredit processes a high volume of loan applications, which can lead to delays. This is especially common during peak periods or after weekends.

    2. Incomplete Information: Ensure all your personal and financial details are correctly filled out. Missing or incorrect information can cause delays in processing.

    3. Credit History Issues: If you’ve had previous loans with Palmcredit or other lenders, your credit history might affect the approval process. Outstanding debts or late payments can lead to longer review times.

    4. Technical Glitches: Sometimes, app errors or connectivity issues can cause delays in loan processing. Ensure your app is updated and your internet connection is stable.

    What You Can Do:

    • Check Your Application: Review the information you’ve provided to ensure it’s accurate and complete.

    • Contact Customer Support: Reach out to Palmcredit’s customer service for updates on your application status.

    • Be Patient: Loan processing can take time, especially if there’s a high volume of applications.

You’re not alone if your Palmcredit app has been stuck on “loan under review” for days. Here’s what might be happening:
    1. Risk checking and credit scoring delays
Palmcredit runs your info through automated systems to verify BVN, bank details, and credit behavior. If anything looks unclear or your repayment history is inconsistent, the system delays your approval.
    2. Data inconsistency or missing records
Issues like inactive SIMs, mismatched BVN details, or unverified bank accounts can trigger prolonged reviews. If you switched phones recently or reinstalled the app, it might also reset your loan history tracking.
    3. Pushed loans or account anomalies
Some users report getting credited without applying, usually due to activity from their Easybuy account. That alone can delay or cancel new applications until everything is balanced.
    4. Internal delays or manual verification
Palmcredit sometimes manually reviews accounts during peak periods, especially when fraud detection is active or their system is under stress.
    What you should do:

    • Log into the app and contact support inside the Help Center
    • Email: palmcredit.support@newedgefinance.com
    • Call: 02017001000
    • If it stays longer than 5 days, report to FCCPC or consider uninstalling the app until resolved

    Raw Warning:
Do not ignore the “under review” message. If they eventually disburse and you don’t notice, you’ll be charged interest on what you didn’t request. Many users have been shocked with repayment reminders for loans they never got alerts for.
    Value Tip:
Always screenshot everything—review messages, app status, and alerts. Palmcredit is a licensed lender but has a record of user complaints. Protect yourself.
