There are so many reasons why an individual may feel that the financial activity of saving money is a hard thing to accomplish. First of all we need to understand that we individuals have insertable desires as well as needs and once that need to be solved financially, and just as our face and fingers are not equal so is our financial problems and responsibilities, an individual who has more financial problems and responsibilities may spend more than another individual who have less problems and financial responsibilities and in the process of solving these problems and handling these responsibilities he or she may spend more money and save less. Another possible reason why majority of individuals are unable to save money adequately is because they have less income (salary and wages) coming in. And they must first allocate money for feeding and for emergencies before actually allocating for savings and in most cases they may be less or none to save at all.

Saving money can be challenging for several reasons:

    1. **Limited Income:** If your income is low, it can be difficult to save because most of your money is already allocated to covering essential expenses.

    2. **High Expenses:** High living expenses, such as rent, bills, and groceries, can leave little room for savings.

    3. **Impulse Spending:** People often spend impulsively on non-essential items, which can make it hard to save.

    4. **Lack of Budgeting:** Without a budget, it’s easy to lose track of your spending and not allocate money for savings.

    5. **Financial Goals:** Not having clear financial goals can reduce motivation to save. Having specific goals, like saving for a vacation or retirement, can help.

    6. **Debt:** If you have a lot of debt, especially high-interest debt, it can be challenging to prioritize saving over debt repayment.

    7. **Emergency Expenses:** Unexpected expenses can derail savings plans. It’s important to have an emergency fund to cover such situations.

    8. **Social Pressure:** Peer pressure or societal expectations to spend on certain things can make saving difficult.

To overcome these challenges, it’s helpful to create a budget, set clear savings goals, automate savings transfers, and seek advice from financial professionals if needed. Starting small and gradually increasing your savings rate can also make it feel less overwhelming.

The truth of the matter is that savings can be pretty difficult when we lack self discipline or self control. As humans we usually have this impulse to spend especially when we have access to money. No matter how much you earn on a daily basis, if one does not know how to manage, it would be pretty difficult to save. Another reason as to why savings might be difficult is the fact that we do not know our needs from wants hence we end up spending too much on our wants.
