A practical approach is to start by saving around 10–20% of your income each month. If that feels too high at first, you can begin with 5% or whatever amount you can consistently manage, then gradually increase it as your budget allows. The goal is building a steady habit rather than hitting a perfect number right away. Consistent saving, even in small amounts, adds up over time, helps you handle emergencies, reduces financial stress, and sets the foundation for long-term goals like buying a house, investing, or achieving financial independence.
