Angola is a big player, often ranking just behind Nigeria, and it’s one of the continent’s top oil exporters. Libya and Algeria in North Africa have long-established oil industries and contribute heavily to the region’s output. Egypt and Sudan also produce oil, though on a smaller scale compared to the others. Even countries like Gabon and the Republic of Congo have oil reserves. So, while Nigeria often gets the most attention because of its size and output, Africa’s oil industry is actually quite diverse and spread across multiple countries.
