A credit card lets you borrow money to repay later, whereas a debit card uses the money from your bank account straight away. Though you can use both credit and debit cards to pay for purchases online

Debit cards make it convenient  with direct payments. The debit card gives access to funds, and help control spending without debt.

A debit card and a credit card are both payment cards, but I will tell you how it work differently:

    Debit Card:

    – Draws funds directly from your checking account
    – Transactions are deducted immediately
    – No borrowing or credit involved
    – No interest charges or fees (except for overdraft fees)
    – Spending limited to available account balance

    Credit Card:

    – Allows you to borrow money from the card issuer
    – Transactions are added to your outstanding balance
    – Requires monthly payments, with interest charges if not paid in full
    – Has a credit limit, which can be increased or decreased
    – May offer rewards, cashback, or other benefits
However, Choose a debit card for everyday expenses and a credit card for specific purchases or rewards, but be mindful of interest charges and pay your balance in full each month to avoid debt.

While a credit card on the other hand is debt card, your credit client might deposit $1000 in your card and you can use such amount on items, but you’ll have to pay it back with interest though.
