If you want to draw hyper-realistic portraits, you’ll need a solid set of graphite pencils (from hard to soft, like 2H to 8B), a smooth paper like Bristol board for fine details, and good erasers both kneaded and precision ones. Blending tools like tissue, blending stumps, or even makeup brushes help a lot with smooth shading. A mechanical pencil is great for sharp details like hair and eyes.
