There needs to be enhancing of the border security to combat smuggling of cheap, often counterfeit clothing .
There needs to be Promoting of local production by strengthening the cotton value chain, investing in skill development, modernizing technology, fostering collaboration between designers and mills.
Lastly there need to be enforcing of intellectual property rights. It will help revive the industry and create jobs.
