Another problem is weak enforcement of existing regulations, particularly regarding smuggling, this bring high level of the challenges faced by local manufacturers.
Other problems include rampant smuggling of foreign textiles, lack of access to affordable credit, inadequate infrastructure, inconsistent supply of raw materials, and a general lack of domestic patronage for locally made textiles.
