If you live in Nigeria and are looking for good apps to trade crypto peer‑to‑peer (P2P), here are some of the best platforms in 2025 — with why many people trust them.

Binance P2P — Widely used in Nigeria because it supports P2P trades with Naira, has many payment methods, and offers strong liquidity.

Paxful — Known for flexibility: many payment options (bank transfer, mobile money, gift cards), escrow protection, and long presence in Nigeria’s P2P market.

Bybit P2P — Gaining popularity for fast trade execution, escrow‑based security, and NGN support — good for regular buyers and sellers.

KuCoin P2P — Offers a wide range of cryptocurrencies and decent P2P support; useful if you want access to altcoins as well as major ones.

Remitano — A simpler, user‑friendly P2P option that supports common coins and is popular among Nigerians who want a straightforward trading experience.

As a crypto enthusiast have been using quite a lot of P2P platforms to buy tokens and also buy usdt.

But the best that I only recommend to people is actually the P2P used and managed by bybit because they are very fast and reliable.

The reason why I also recommend it is because of the strict policy that has been laid down by this crypto exchanging app to make sure that both the buyer and the seller are not being scammed.

The best P2P crypto trading apps in Nigeria right now are: Binance, KuCoin, and Paxful. Each one has different features depending on your priorities — speed, rates, or ease of use.

Here’s how they compare from real experience:

    1. Binance P2P
Binance is the most trusted platform for P2P in Nigeria.

    • You can buy/sell USDT, BTC, BNB directly from other users.

    • They offer zero trading fees on P2P.

    • Escrow protection makes it safer from scams.

    • You can sort sellers by bank type (GTBank, Opay, etc.)

Example: I used Binance P2P to cash out ₦75,000 last week through an Opay seller — the trade was done in under 10 minutes.

    2. KuCoin P2P
Also very reliable, but not as user-friendly as Binance.

    • Lower liquidity sometimes, but fewer scammers.

    • Good if you want to hold altcoins too.

    3. Paxful
Best for variety. You can buy crypto using bank transfer, Opay, Chipper Cash, even gift cards.

    • But Paxful has more scam complaints, so only use verified vendors with good feedback.

    🔐 Safety Tips:

    • Always trade with vendors who are verified and have 90%+ positive feedback.

    • Don’t chat or make payments outside the platform.

    • If a seller pressures you to cancel or chat on WhatsApp, leave immediately.

If you’re new, start with Binance P2P — it’s the most active, regulated, and safe. But always double-check vendor feedback before every deal.
