Being a public school teacher often comes with more job stability, government benefits, and a structured career path compared to private schools. You usually get access to pensions, healthcare, and professional development programs. Public schools can also offer a diverse teaching environment, which helps build broader experience. While private schools might pay more or have smaller classes, public school teaching tends to provide long-term security and a chance to impact a wider community.

Public school teachers often enjoy greater job security due to union protections and government funding, unlike private school teachers who may face less stable contracts. Public schools typically offer better benefits, including pensions, health insurance, and paid leave, compared to variable benefits in private schools.

Also, Salaries in public schools are often standardized and may be higher in some regions, while private school pay can vary widely.
