The year 2025 is a very interesting year with so much technological advancement and leaps in the facet of human understanding, one is left wondering what skills are still valuable in this modern computer age?
This is a good and timely question. Some of these areas are;

1. Digital skills

As the world is going digital, in order to survive and thrive above the rat race, one need to adapt very fast to new trends. One of these is digital skills, such as, computer engineering, computer sciences, web and app designs, forex, crypto, AI integrations and the like.

2. Creative skills

Another area worthy of note is creative skills. Many are often opinion that in this AI age, creative jobs are not needed. This is very far from the truth. With the perfusion of AI, many people still desire originality of thought and action in skills like photography, writing, and the like.

Some others are still far from being learnt by And are still equally in high demand. These are skills like hair dressing, barbers, plumbers, welders and other equipment skills.

3. People skills

One of the greatest skills to ever grace this earth is “people skills”. A unique and sometimes learnt ability to relate with people on a personal level. While AI can be taught the technicals , it cannot connect with people on an emotional level. This is something that only an individual with “life” can achieve. Pursue and master this and you will be well sought after. Some skills here are doctors, nurses, pharmacists, counsellors, psychologists and the like.

I wish you the best in your pursuit of skills in this new age.
