There are some people that deserve to see the bad side of you because when you continue to be friendly to such people you are rather making it worse for yourself.
But I believe that as somebody who wants to live in peace with everybody you should be able to know which individual to show kindness to and who not to

Personally i feel showing your enemy kindness isn’t a sign of weakness but rather strength. It takes only the strong to show kindness when others are doing the complete opposite. Treating them the same way only reduces you to their level.

That is what God wants us to do so that our joy may be full. Generally, as humans we don’t have to retaliate. You don’t need to pay back evil for good. You just have to accept that people can be difficult to deal with but continue to pray and love them

When showing kindness you also have to make it clear that you are not friends with them no what so that they don’t get the wrong impression.
