Traditionally or culturally it’s never about the age. You are free to marry n older or younger person. This comes up most times just because people of a similar age have similar experiences, similar interests and a similar level of maturity so they get along well together.
But even at that you can still bring the other person to your standards and see how it goes. So basically10 years / 20 years or 1 year younger or older doesn’t make a difference so long as both of you have liking and love for each other. However to be compatible in good long sustaining marital bliss ideal age gap isn’t a bad idea.

I have seen cases of people getting married to people way older and the marriage is still kicking fine.
