Teachers who assault students whether physically or emotionally should face serious consequences. In my opinion, the punishment should match the severity of the abuse. This can include immediate suspension, loss of teaching license, and legal action, especially in cases involving physical harm or abuse of power. It’s not just about punishment it’s about making sure students feel safe and respected in a place meant for learning.
