But the choice depends on individual preferences and priorities.
Again,public universities typically have higher acceptance rates and more flexible requirements. a school being public doesn’t inherently mean that it offers a lower quality of education
Public universities do have larger student bodies, which can lead to bigger class sizes and a more diverse student environment. .
The Government degrees offer unmatched credibility and cost-effectiveness, though private institutions provide cutting-edge learning and direct industry exposure.

Both University are better in their own way. Public universities provide a more standard education system. The government and many organizations values public schools certificate more than those of private universities. The problems most public institutions in Nigeria are facing over the years is persistent strike.
Private Universities in the other hand provide a more conducive environment for learning. They also have standard infrastructure and modern practical equipments. Most private universities don’t go on educational strikes. Although one of the problems with private universities is that it is very expensive. Not every one can afford going to a private school.
It’s really hard to decide which one is best regarding both Universities. But if we are to consider standard educational systems, government recognition, an affordability, I’ll say that public universities is the best.

Public universities may be slower what have discovered that they also have high standards of academic performance because they are not scared of giving you a carry over. They have slower calendars and you might have risks of going for strike.
Public universities actually teach you quite a lot compared to driving universities in terms of social life because you get to interact people from different backgrounds

I studied and graduated from a public university. And I have friends and relatives that attended private universities and some attended public universities. I think that public universities have more funding without profit motive and as a result, are better equipped and better staffed than private universities. My department alone in a public university had 8 professors while most private universities can’t boast of that number in the whole school.
