Opay POS costs less upfront (₦10k–₦12k), while Moniepoint might charge ₦21k or more.
Opay accepts faster payments via USSD or QR even with weak data, great for villages or outskirts.

But I have noticed that most of the POS operatives in my locality prefer using moniepoint and have always been patronizing them what I don’t know the reason why they prefer using it.
Maybe the difference will just be the difference in charges which I believe most of these POS operators take very serious
