Unreliable electricity or light, is a major issue in Nigeria, with frequent outages due to grid failures. Aging infrastructure and low generation capacity (4,500 MW for over 200 million people) cause widespread blackouts. Corruption diverts funds meant for power upgrades, slowing progress like other projects. Vandalism and load shedding further disrupt supply, frustrating residents.
Also, Public anger on platforms like X highlights the crisis and demands reform. Unstable power hampers businesses like perfumery or snack sales, stalling development. Solar or generator alternatives help, but systemic fixes are needed.
