Air conditioners often consumes a lot of energy, which means by simply using an air conditioner, there would be an increase in your electricity bills. Fans on the other hand often consumes less current than an air conditioner. These days there are even rechargeable fans that do not need electricity, or solar fan as which will not have an effect on your electrical bills.
