I don’t like the idea of coupling a man and a woman who have no organic and interpersonal relationship with each other by parents but the final decision still belongs to persons involved. I believe people should have the right to choose who they want to marry, but sometimes, this right can be used wrongly.
Calmly and respectfully allow them to voice their objections But if you don’t like it just reassure them that your partner will make a good spouse

Yes they can ship in a few things, they can even put in a few good words for the particular one they believe is best for you but at the end of the day, you are the one going into the marriage not them, so they shouldn’t be the one to choose. Then again it would be best to not rush and take out time to find out while they want you to marry that particular person.

No one would be there to face the challenges in the marriage with you. It is soothing in the midst of the challenge to know that you solely chose to marry that person. It would be painful in challenging moments to know that someone chose that partner for you.
