First step is you deciding the brand of phone you want to get and how much you can afford. Once you know the price start saving little by little, every penny counts.

Secondly have a fixed amount in mind and decide if you want to be saving it up weekly or monthly .
You can use a savings app, piggy bank, or even a separate account just for your phone goal.

Third thing to do is Trade in or sell your old phone, if your old phone still works you can swap it or sell it online to add to your new phone fund. Many phone shops and websites offer trade-in discounts.

These days there are so many UK used phones that still looks brown new, though i feel buying a new phone would be better, you can buy a mid range budget phone that still performs well.

If you want to save money on a new phone, the simplest way is to be patient and smart about it. Don’t rush for the newest model often last year’s version works just as well. Look for seasonal sales, trade-in deals, or refurbished phones that are basically like new but cheaper. Compare prices online and offline before buying, and skip expensive add-ons that aren’t necessary. Even small choices, like buying an unlocked phone instead of a carrier-locked one, can save you a lot in the long run. Essentially, think long-term and buy with purpose, not impulse.
