Some of them have been reported to do things that are very disturbing to hear and some of them include sexually harassing the students, asking for bribes From Their students which they use to pass their student irrespective of how the student performed in during the exam.
Some lecturers just are there to intentionally fail any student who they don’t really like for any personal reason.
I think the best ways to handle such people is by having a very good and tangible evidence against them, because having an evidence will help you to charge them to court and have them pay for all they have been doing to all other students.

The rate at which most lecturers act unprofessionally to most students is becoming something else. I think the best ways to handle issues like this is to ensure you document important incidents, then talk to the lecturer in a very calm and polite manner, always ensure you are not alone, or at least there are others who knows about your whereabouts at all times. If the lecturer refuses to see reasons, you can take it up with the head of department and if they still can’t handle it, you can take it to external bodies like the police with all your evidence.

When dealing with a school lecturer who is not acting professionally towards you as a man or woman, the first thing you should do is
Report to your HOD:
every department has an HOD ( Head Of Department) take out time to report the issue to your HOD, and if possible get enough evidence to back up your claims, and make sure you have a copy of the evidence and someone else you trust knows what is going on. If no proper action is being carried out
Report to the police:Â
If at the end of the day you are not satisfied, or proper action was not carried out, the next step to take would be to report to the authorities with your evidence.
