Airtel occasionally offers free data promotions, but these are typically limited-time offers and may require specific actions to qualify. One such method to potentially receive free data is by downloading and registering on the My Airtel App. Some users have reported receiving free data bonuses upon completing the registration process.
    Steps to Try:

    1. Download the My Airtel App:

      • Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search for “My Airtel App.”
      • Download and install the app on your smartphone.
    2. Register or Log In:

      • Open the app and either register a new account or log in if you already have one.
      • Ensure that you provide accurate information during the registration process.
    3. Complete Any Required Actions:

      • Follow any prompts or instructions within the app to complete the registration or verification process.
      • Some users have reported receiving free data bonuses after completing these steps.Nairaland

Note: Availability of free data promotions may vary, and not all users may receive the bonus. It’s advisable to check the app regularly for any new offers or promotions.
    Alternative Methods:
If the above method doesn’t yield results, consider exploring Airtel’s official data plans and offers:

    • Airtel Data Plans: Visit the Airtel Data Plans page to explore various data packages that suit your needs.
    • Airtel SmartTrybe: Dial *312# and select option 1 to migrate to the SmartTrybe tariff plan, which offers discounted data bundles and other benefits.

Important: Always ensure that any actions you take to receive free data are in line with Airtel’s terms and conditions. Avoid using unauthorized methods or third-party services that claim to offer free data, as these may violate Airtel’s policies and could result in penalties or loss of service.
Final Tip: Regularly check the My Airtel App and Airtel’s official channels for the latest offers and promotions. Engaging with Airtel’s official platforms ensures that you receive legitimate and safe benefits.
Let me know if you need further assistance or information on Airtel’s services.

If you’re serious with your POS business in Lagos, you can make ₦5,000 to ₦15,000 daily, depending on your location and how many customers you get.

I dey run my own POS stand inside Ikotun market and I see at least 200 customers daily. Here’s how the money breaks down:

    1. Cash Withdrawal Charges – If you charge ₦100 per ₦5,000, and 100 people withdraw ₦5k daily, that’s ₦10,000 already.

    2. Deposits & Transfers – I charge ₦50 to ₦100 for deposits, and people dey send money steady on Mondays and Fridays.

    3. Other Services – Airtime, cable, utility payment go add small extra.

But no lie, everything depends on:

Your location (bus stop, busy junctions pay more)

Your daily float (you need cash to serve people)

Bank/network wahala (network dey kill business sometimes)

I started with Moniepoint, then opened second POS with Opay. Moniepoint get better commission, but Opay fast pass.

No sitdown for quiet area o. Lagos POS na hustle, not cruise.

If you position well, you fit collect like ₦300k–₦450k monthly with steady effort.

Making money from a POS business in Lagos depends on several factors: location, daily customer traffic, and how you manage your float. If you position your POS at a busy market or near a transport hub, you can easily see between ₦7,000 to ₦15,000 daily. For example, a friend of mine runs a POS in Yaba market and makes about ₦10,000 daily on average.

Your income mainly comes from transaction charges. If you charge ₦100 for every ₦5,000 withdrawal and you serve 100 customers, that’s ₦10,000 already. Add deposits, transfers, airtime sales, and bill payments, and your daily earnings can increase.

However, be mindful of challenges: occasional network downtimes, bank system glitches, and cash float shortages can affect daily income.

In summary, a well-managed POS in a busy Lagos location can fetch you ₦200,000 to ₦400,000 monthly if you stay consistent and deliver good customer service. Start small, build trust, and expand your float gradually.
