How Married Couples can get out of Debt without money?

Could you please tell me whether there is any way to get out of debt when I have no money and bad credit? My husband and I have been struggling with debt for some time now, and we are attempting to choose our next course of action.

We’ve attempted to get out of debt, but it seems like our problems are just getting worse. We don’t want to lose our home, our vehicle, or anything else, but we also want a chance to live our lives without this ongoing cloud hovering over our heads. This situation is really upsetting for us since we don’t want to lose any of these things.

We are contemplating approaching close friends and family members in the hopes that they may be able to assist us in getting this process off the ground. Do you think that would be a good idea? Or is there something else we could do to start getting out of debt?

It can feel like there’s no way out if you’re in debt, don’t have any money, and have bad credit. But the truth is that you really do have a lot of choices as couples.

The first thing you need to do is assess your financial situation and determine who you owe money to, how much money you owe them, and what kinds of debts you have.

The next step is to create a budget that accounts for all of your monthly costs, such as your housing, food, utilities, transportation costs (if applicable), insurance premiums, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance amounts (if applicable), medical co-pays (if applicable), etc., as well as any additional costs that may arise during the course of the month (for example, unforeseen car repairs). The next step is to figure out how many hours you’ll need to pay off your bills.

Once you’ve calculated how much money each debt will cost and how long it will take to fulfill each payment (or be paid off), you can begin organizing a strategy for paying off your debt.

For example, if you owe $2,000 and the interest rate is 12%, it will take you about 17 months to pay off that debt.

I hope this answer help you.

Here are some tips for married couples to get out of debt without money:

    • Track expenses and make a budget to cut non-essential spending. Reduce eating out, entertainment, shopping expenses.
    • Downsize your lifestyle – move to a smaller home, sell second car, eliminate cable/gym memberships.
    • Increase income – take overtime hours, second job, monetize skills/hobbies. Spouse also finds work.
    • Sell assets – liquidate any assets you own like jewelry, electronics, furniture, vehicles not in use.
    • Renegotiate/refinance debts – contact creditors to lower interest rate, waive fees, reduce minimum payments.
    • Balance transfer to 0% credit card – transfer high interest debts to save on interest costs for some time.
    • Debt management plan with credit counseling agency – negotiate reduced debt repayments into one monthly payment.
    • Bankruptcy – consider it as last resort if debts are unmanageable. Can discharge certain debts legally.
    • Trade services – barter services or items instead of paying for things with money. Leverage your skills.
    • Borrow from friends/family carefully – explain situation and agree on repayment terms. Don’t take advantage.
    • No new debt – absolutely avoid taking any new loans or debts till you are debt-free, no matter how tempting.

With co-operation, persistence and changed money habits, couples can become debt-free without relying on increased income alone.

But as a couple I believe that it becomes very easier since you guys are two. They said that two heads are better than one but it really happens if both heads understand what they have to do. You guys must sit and make a definite plan on what you need to do because you are in debt you understand that you need to make more money as a couple so you must be able to find ways that you can make money actively not just from one source because when you are in debt you need to find multiple streams of income

As a couple I believe you both at least have an asset that you both can sale and pay off the debt.

If the assets you both sold off won’t be enough to pay off the debt then you have to be paying in batches.
You also have to start working as a wife if you’re not working already.
