How did CPU mining work in cryptocurrency ?
I know nothing about CPU mining in Blockchain, but what I know is, as a reward for the miners efforts, the miner who successfully added the new block receives a certain amount of cryptocurrency coins.Â
Please I need your opinion.

Typically , the miners would pick the transactions in the pool and it will be verified, the verified transaction should be added to the blockchain and reward will be given accordingly . The reward given is inform of the token. If it is in bitcoin context , the reward given to the miners will be in BTC.

New CPU mining in blockchain it is simply a method where transactions are confirmed in the blockchain and they are added to the network and award is given to the miners . CPU mining works in the proof of work consensus where the consensus mechanism that is used by the miners is the proof of work to solve complex mathematical puzzles and it is very important that this particular method requires huge computational power.

The process of using a computer’s CPU for the computing chores required for the care and security of a blockchain network is known as CPU mining. Earlier, CPU mining was the primary mechanism for verifying transactions and generating new blocks to the blockchain. The majority of blockchain networks initially relied on a Proof of Work consensus mechanism to obtain unanimity and authorize transactions.
