    You don’t have to depend on synthetic fertilizer to make your farm fertile. Nature already provides many ways to enrich the soil and boost harvest. Here are some effective methods:

    1. Add Organic Manure – Use animal dung, compost, or kitchen waste that has decomposed properly. They release nutrients slowly and improve soil structure.

    2. Practice Crop Rotation – Don’t plant the same crop on the same land every season. Rotating with legumes (like beans or peas) helps fix nitrogen into the soil naturally.

    3. Green Manure & Cover Crops – Plant fast-growing crops like clover, sunhemp, or cowpea, then plough them back into the soil. This adds organic matter and nutrients.

    4. Mulching – Cover the soil with dry leaves, grass, or crop residue. Mulch conserves moisture, prevents erosion, and improves soil fertility as it decomposes.

    Applying of industrially produced fertilizers will increase the yield of your crops for sure. However they are very expensive and also contains strong chemicals which alters the soils PH over a long time of usage. They could also kill the microorganisms present in the soil.
    They are different ways through which you can keep you land fertile.
    Application of manure and animal dung is a more natural way to keep your Lang fertile. And this method is safe as it doesn’t affect the soil and the microorganisms present in the soil.
    Cultivating the same crop on a piece of land for years will decrease the soils fertility. Farmers should adopt the practise of mixed farming.

Do light clearing to take out the non legumes weeds that are growing on the farm.

    A farm can be made fertile naturally by using compost, organic manure, and green manure crops to add nutrients back into the soil. Rotating crops and planting legumes helps fix nitrogen and maintain soil balance. Mulching keeps the soil moist and prevents erosion, while encouraging earthworms and beneficial microbes improves soil structure and fertility. These methods enrich the soil over time, setting the stage for a strong, productive harvest.

    There are different farming practices that are aimed at restoring the fertility of a piece of land without necessarily having to do with the use of synthetic fertiliser
    Bush falkowjihis one of them. This has to do with letting the place or piece of land fallow for some years to regain it’s fertility. It may not be very convenient because you will have to forfeit farming for some years
    Another faster method is the use of manure and that is effective because it is a natural way of restoring fertility

    Well, Soil fertility can be improved naturally through crop rotation, one can also  add compost or manure, growing cover crops, and practicing mulching. These will enrich the soil with essential nutrients, improve soil structure, and promote beneficial soil organisms.

    It is always good to adopt ways to improve nutrient-poor soils  without commercial fertilizers . fertilizers can be costly and inconsistent with the organic approach to soil fertility, .

    So basically, Soil fertility can be improved by incorporating cover crops that add organic matter to the soil, which leads to improved soil structure and promotes a healthy, fertile soil;
