Freelancing lets me set my own hours and work from anywhere, using platforms like Upwork to offer skills like writing or design, fitting around my schedule.

By start with minimal setup just a laptop and internet and choose projects I enjoy. However, income can be inconsistent, and I need to hustle for clients initially. A part time job offers steady!

This is because with freelancing you are completely in charge, you get to decide a time that is okay for you to start the working and so on. Part time jobs on the other hand, you do not really have the ability to decide the times you can work, rather your employer decides this for you.

Freelancing is easier to run alongside a full-time job. To know this, we need to understand what a freelancer entails and what a part time job also means.
A freelancer is a worker who is not affiliated to an organization but works independently and sometimes remotely.

A part time job on the other hand is a job that requires part time participation of it’s worker where the worker works less hours than the conventional 9 to 5 for most full time jobs. This accords specific time say alternate days, twice or thrice a week. Two hours a day and the like.

Now while both accord time to the worker involved, a part time job still has its constraints and what happens when the time of work is same for both the full time and part time jobs?

Freelancing gives a worker flexibility and freedom to work at their own pace and for the number of hours they choose. This comes with commitment to your contract employer of course but with a much more open schedule.
