I have noticed that some students do assignment for others in exchange of money in schools. Do you think it is a right thing to do?.isn’t this a wrong act?

Doing assignments for others in exchange for money is wrong. It’s a form of cheating that undermines learning, both for the person doing the work and the one paying for it. It can lead to serious consequences if discovered, like failing grades or disciplinary action. Beyond rules, it also encourages dishonesty, which can harm character and trust in the long run. Learning to do your own work is far more valuable than any short-term money gained.

Looking at it morally it is wrong, cause an assignment is something you need to do yourself so you can improve and grow yourself. Giving the assignment to someone else means there is no opportunity for you to learn. Then again, for the person who goes about doing the assignment, they do this as a means of earning extra money. This line of work is way better than going to do something illegal online. The best answer is if your conscious does not judge you, go ahead and do it.

Doing assignments for others in exchange for money is generally considered wrong, even if it looks like an easy way to earn. Most schools see it as academic dishonesty, because the student receiving the work is claiming knowledge they did not learn. If the school discovers it, both the buyer and the person who did the assignment can get into serious trouble—failing grades, suspension, or losing trust from teachers.
Also, it prevents the other student from learning the skills they actually need, which may hurt them later in exams or real-life situations. A better and more ethical option is to offer tutoring, explanations, study notes, or guidance instead of doing the entire assignment. That way you still earn money, help the person understand the topic, and stay out of trouble. It also builds a good reputation for being helpful, responsible, and trustworthy—qualities that can open bigger opportunities for you in the future.

Honestly, doing assignments for others in exchange for money is morally wrong because it is considered academic dishonesty. As a student, you are expected to do your own work so that you can truly learn and build knowledge for your future. When you do assignments for others and they submit it as their own work, it is cheating, and it can lead to punishment if the school finds out. However, if someone is paying you to teach or explain how to solve a problem so they can understand and do it themselves, that one is acceptable because you are helping them learn, not doing the work for them. So in summary, doing assignments for others to submit as their own is wrong, but teaching and guiding them is okay.
