I am active again after a while and a lot has changed but the apathy of tier two altcoins remains same and it’s absolute sham because most of the tier two altcoins have hit rockbottom and to a point of no return and some trusted coins like LUNA, FTX, Celsius, and BlockFI etc where people have lost their life long savings and on the other hand we have tokens like Solano, XRP, XLM, BNB, ADA and Matic who are heading on path of recovery. It’s clear that you go with top altcoins (even this involves risk like fate of LUNA, FTX, etc) though there are slight risk of losing but probability of losing everything is even more in other altcoins whose prices are dipped within few seconds after their launch. It’s better to invest in established coins rather than newbies.

I think new altocoins or ICOs are more difficult to predict than IPOs, my experience was when Tron (TRX) was launched for the first time I bought a lot of crypto and deposited in several wallets, and activated the staking feature hoping to get profit after a few months, but what happened was the opposite, the price of Tron continued decreased, so I was forced to sell all the Tron that I owned even though it was a loss. At the Shiba Inu when it was launched I also had a lot of SHIB but unfortunately I was hesitant to sell all the SHIB I had so I only sold about 40%, hoping the price would go up to a peak, but in hopes of turning around the SHIB price plummeted and I lost.
Of course new altcoins will be at high risk, especially for beginners, who don’t understand the game of whales, so they will be carried away by the currents used to take profits by whales.
