I think it is economical for a lot of families especially the low earners and I think this is done so that it can be bought by all household but I don't think.it is cost effective. You get to buy ones and it would last you better for a period but the small sachet ones don’t buy you can pay way more for a small quantity than adding money to buy the big one at once . So it is economical but not cost effective.
