If you’re serious with your POS business in Lagos, you can make ₦5,000 to ₦15,000 daily, depending on your location and how many customers you get.
I dey run my own POS stand inside Ikotun market and I see at least 200 customers daily. Here’s how the money breaks down:
1. Cash Withdrawal Charges – If you charge ₦100 per ₦5,000, and 100 people withdraw ₦5k daily, that’s ₦10,000 already.
2. Deposits & Transfers – I charge ₦50 to ₦100 for deposits, and people dey send money steady on Mondays and Fridays.
3. Other Services – Airtime, cable, utility payment go add small extra.
But no lie, everything depends on:
Your location (bus stop, busy junctions pay more)
Your daily float (you need cash to serve people)
Bank/network wahala (network dey kill business sometimes)
I started with Moniepoint, then opened second POS with Opay. Moniepoint get better commission, but Opay fast pass.
No sitdown for quiet area o. Lagos POS na hustle, not cruise.
If you position well, you fit collect like ₦300k–₦450k monthly with steady effort.
