I actually prefer P2P just because it’s easier and you get to exchange your money from the comfort of your home and you’ll also get the same rate with those buying and selling from over the counter(OTC).
OTC is mostly unregulated and for example If you live far away from exchanges you have to spend time and money to go there, instead of P2P that can be done from your phone and it’s not guaranteed you’ll have the best rate .
