    I have never traded or exchanged cryptos outside exchanges. When I want to exchange and trade, I always trade and exchange through the platform. Well, I have exchanged forum currencies for crypto on various paid to post forums, but I have not used over the counter exchanges. I was not even aware of this term. I think it is very risky to exchange outside the exchange because you cannot file a complain when someone cheats on you.

    I actually prefer P2P just because it’s easier and you get to exchange your money from the comfort of your home and you’ll also get the same rate with those buying and selling from over the counter(OTC).

    OTC is mostly unregulated and for example If you live far away from exchanges you have to spend time and money to go there, instead of P2P that can be done from your phone and it’s not guaranteed you’ll have the best rate .
