Online tutoring provides greater flexibility and convenience over other types of tutoring, as it allows learners or teachers to participate from anywhere without having to pay for travel expenses. As well, online tutoring allows learners to access a wider variety of subjects, access qualified tutors, access recorded lessons, and access hundreds of thousands of other learning resources from all over the world. By allowing learners to control their schedule and choose a learning pace that works best for them, online tutoring results in a lot of time savings compared to other tutoring options.
Although some learners benefit from offline tutoring because it provides for face-to-face interaction and greater levels of concentration, there are numerous reasons why online tutoring is becoming more common than offline tutoring; primarily due to advances in technology and the availability of internet access to almost everyone. Due to the amount of time busy students and employees have available (if any), online tutoring is often considered the easiest and/or most economical option for tutoring and learning.
