In Nigeria the kind of businesses established over here are mostly small-scale business. I have been trying to understand why this is so but yet I come to the conclusion that the reason why small-scale businesses are established in Nigeria is because of the low capital nature and inadequacy of most individuals who go into business. Because the country is a developing country, it happens a lot in such countries, a lot of people are trying to start up a business and make ends meet, they’re not starting the next Google that’s going to disrupt the world, they are just adding values to already existing business.
These kind of business are kind of easy to start and almost profitable at the beginning hence a lot of people get into them and work on them.
