How do you feel about the indicator strategy?

This is a fairly popular but not effective trading method when a trader opens a deal thanks to the signals of an indicator that signals whether to sell or buy. When I started my journey in trading, I also studied these indicators, but they are not effective, so I do not think that it should be taken seriously. What is your opinion?
