Sometimes I do wonder whether managing a family business involves a whole lot that managing a personal business. Also I sometimes believe that managing a family business may put one in pressure to make decisions irrationally. Being a successor to a family business might involve a whole lot, since you do not want to fall the hands or disappoint your family members who are looking up to you. Anyways what do you guys think?

I don’t think managing a family is similar to managing a business. When you are managing a business, profit is all you desire. However, when you are managing your family, you don’t care for profits. When you pay for kid’s school fee, do you expect a return, when you pay for your spouse’s medical bills, do you pay because you will be receiving “a return on investment? ” managing a family is all about love and responsibility.
