Basically, ETFs are a combination of mutual funds in terms of managing funds, but the buying and selling transaction mechanism is carried out on the stock exchange. Some of the main differences between mutual funds and ETFs are that mutual funds do not have Participating Dealers. Purchase of shares in mutual funds at least one unit/sheet. If you buy ETFs on the primary market, at least 1,000 lots, whereas if you buy ETFs on the secondary market, at least 1 lot.
If you want to invest in ETFs you can buy products through the primary market and the secondary market. In the primary market you can buy ETF products through Participating Dealers, but if you want to buy ETFs in the secondary market you can go through a broker. The conditions are like buying shares on the stock exchange.
I am more familiar with local ETFs so I cannot recommend global ETFs, but there are several global ETFs that you can use as references such as Vanguard Growth ETF, Invesco QQQ Trust, SPDR Gold Shares etc.
