    There are so many resources to learn about personal finance and get tips on what to do to earn and save well as well as invest and grow your money. Some resources include;

    1. Books – there are so many books that have been written by finance experts on personal finance. My personal favourite is Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I love this book because it teaches you some great mindsets to adopt about money. It emphasizes a lot on the importance of financial literacy and teaches what exactly you should be financially literate about.

    2. Blogs and vlogs – the personal finance niche is so popular in blogs and vlogs. You can benefit a lot from having articles and videos that you follow for such information.

    Ensuring that your wealth is secure is very important indeed. There are some ways to ensure this. One it them is through investing in legit methods only. You should take your time and research before putting your money anywhere.

    Another way is through using security measures that protect one from theft. For instance, if you are investing online, make sure that the site is well secure. You should use a strong password and enable two factor authentication.

    You could also secure your wealth through constant research and learning. The more you research and learn new things, the better you become at taking precautionary measures while building wealth.

    Moreover, banks require that you meet some qualifications for you to take a loan. Some of them include having a steady source of income, good credit history and a viable collateral. Most minors don’t have this.

    I think the only way a minor will quality for the loan is if they take it under an adult, maybe a parent or elder sibling. That way, they will be using the qualifications and account of another person to access the loan.

    One thing that they check is your credit history. If you have a habit of not paying back loans, you will have a lower maximum limit. This also applies to how much time you take to pay back, late payers are less trusted with high amounts.

    They also look at your capability of paying back the loan. This can be seen from the salary you earn or the collateral you provided. If you have a regular source of income that pays well, you will easily be trusted with a higher maximum limit.

    2. Sell off the things you don’t use anymore – there is that old phone that you don’t use anymore or that blender you got as a gift yet you already had one. Selling such things that you don’t use anymore will help you raise money to pay debt quickly.

    3. Increase your income – you can do that by taking up more online jobs. Now is the time to try new freelancing methods that you have ever thought of or have the skill. Online earning can help you get out of debt fast. It is a great side hustle while you earn offline full time.

    You can also negotiate over the interest rates. If they are too high, you can ask for lower rates. That way, you don’t have to struggle paying off too much debt.

    There are some creditors that you can also negotiate to let go of the debt. This works well among family and friends. They can pardon you if you are in a really bad place financially.

It is unfortunate that some people have fallen victims of suicide due to having too much debt.

    When your mental health is affected, you physical health tends to suffer. This is because poor mental health has been linked to reduced immunity. Also, when you are not okay in your mind, you tend to forget to eat well, exercise or take enough rests.
