PPC stands for Pay-Per-Click advertising. It is a model of internet marketing where advertisers pay a fee to publishers/search engines every time their ad is clicked on. Here are some tips on how to do PPC effectively:

    • Research keywords deeply to identify high-intent, relevant search queries to target. Tools like Google Keyword Planner can help.
    • Set up and optimize Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts. Write tightly targeted, compelling ad copy and headlines.
    • Design campaigns, ad groups, and keywords to match consumer search intent and your products/services. Use negative keywords too.
    • Bid strategically on keywords based on their conversion value, competitiveness, search volume etc. Adjust bids to balance budget and traffic.
    • Create relevant, user-friendly landing pages that encourage conversions and match the ad copy promise. Fast page speed is key.
    • Continuously analyze data like CTR, bounce rates, conversions, keyword performance etc. and refine targeting, bids, creative, landing pages accordingly.
    • Test different elements like ad copy, call-to-actions, landing pages, devices, dayparting etc. to improve results.
    • Take advantage of advanced PPC techniques like display/remarketing, extensions, quality score improvement tactics, dynamic keyword insertion etc.
    • Sync PPC accounts and keywords with email marketing campaigns, website content strategy and other efforts to boost impact.
    • Leverage automation to optimize bids, ad copy, ad serving and more based on data and algorithms. But maintain human oversight.

With well-optimized PPC campaigns, advertisers can drive qualified traffic and conversions in a measurable way. The key is diligent monitoring and improvement over time.

Yes, promoting your YouTube channel definitely helps, especially when you’re just starting out. While YouTube can recommend your videos through its algorithm, that usually happens when your content starts getting good engagement like likes, comments, and watch time. So in the beginning, it’s smart to share your videos on social media, with friends, or in relevant online communities. YouTube does promote content for free through search and suggested videos, but it works best when your content is consistent, high quality, and optimized with good titles, tags, and thumbnails.

When you keep a sign post or write something on top of your shop, you are actually doing promotion, albeit, not in a formal way. The way one sets his or her business to be easily identifiable as the kind of business it is would also be regarded as promotion. Nobody can make sales without some form of business promotion.

I’d say the key to using LinkedIn for sales is to focus on building relationships, not just promoting your business. Start by optimizing your profile so it clearly shows what you do and who you help. Share helpful content, engage with posts in your industry, and connect with potential clients genuinely. You can also join relevant groups and participate in discussions to show your expertise. Over time, people will start seeing you as a trusted resource, which makes them more likely to buy from you or hire your services.

Is this a tradition or just a strategy beneficial to the marketers, business owner and  product specialist alone? Most times the quality you see outward is not the same inward. You only have to check to decide and before you do you already bought. What a great strategy. Well the disadvantage is it doesn’t retain customer unless you have another strategy to overcome that, don’t Start it and unless there are those that prefer packaging over products and that would be so weird.

It is so common to find things in the market whose packaging is way better than the product itself. It is just their way of promoting their products. It is deceiving but works everytime in their favour. However, the consequence is that they will find hard to retain customers and they are building a bad reputation for themselves. That is why it is way better to focus on improving the quality of the products rather than having to cover it up with a beautiful packaging. It is great to package well, but much better to give people quality, that retains them for long.
