I studied in a federal university (UNIBEN), and my younger brother went to a state school (Ambrose Alli University). From experience:
Federal universities usually have better infrastructure, more experienced lecturers, and stronger alumni networks. That helps a lot when you’re looking for NYSC placements or international scholarships.
But state universities tend to resume and graduate students faster. While I was dealing with ASUU strikes, my brother was writing his final year exams.
So what really matters is what you want:
If you value prestige and competition, go federal.
If you want a quicker academic calendar, try a state university with fewer strike issues.
Both can produce solid graduates. The hustle after school is the real equalizer.

Some of them have been reported to do things that are very disturbing to hear and some of them include sexually harassing the students, asking for bribes From Their students which they use to pass their student irrespective of how the student performed in during the exam.
Some lecturers just are there to intentionally fail any student who they don’t really like for any personal reason.
I think the best ways to handle such people is by having a very good and tangible evidence against them, because having an evidence will help you to charge them to court and have them pay for all they have been doing to all other students.
