Liquidity pools are collections of tokens locked in a smart contract and used by Automated Market Makers (AMMs) to enable trading without traditional buyers and sellers. Users called liquidity providers deposit token pairs and earn a share of trading fees. AMMs use mathematical formulas to determine prices based on token ratios in the pool. As traders swap tokens, the pool balances change, automatically adjusting prices according to supply and demand.

Layer 2 tokens (like MATIC or Arbitrum’s ARB) are built on top of a Layer 1 to solve problems like high fees and slow transactions. They don’t replace the base chain; they just help it scale.

    Quick breakdown:

Layer 1 = main blockchain (ETH, BTC, BNB)

Layer 2 = upgrade or extension (Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum)

If the internet was a road, Layer 1 is the highway. Layer 2 is the flyover added to ease traffic.

No, career pursuit should not be all about passion alone.

Take Kemi, for example. She loved drawing fashion sketches in secondary school. Everyone said, “Follow your passion!” So she studied Fine Arts. But after NYSC, reality hit—jobs were scarce, and her bank account didn’t care about her talent. She pivoted, learned product design online, and now earns well as a UI/UX designer. She still sketches on weekends.

    Here’s the real truth:

Passion without skill or demand is a hobby.

Passion fades when bills pile up.

    Money and market demand matter.

Instead, aim for the sweet spot:
Passion + Market Demand + Competence = Sustainable Career

Some people start with passion, others start where the money is, then grow to love it. Both paths are valid—just don’t let “passion” blind you from economic reality. Nigeria is not a fairytale economy.

If you must choose, choose value first, then inject passion into it later.

Creating a smart contract for handling money typically involves using a blockchain platform like Ethereum. You would need to write code in a programming language like Solidity to define the rules and conditions of the contract, including how money is managed and transferred. This can involve functions for sending and receiving funds, as well as logic to ensure proper execution.

However, developing smart contracts requires a good understanding of blockchain technology, programming, and security considerations. It’s recommended to thoroughly study the platform’s documentation and possibly consult with experienced developers to ensure your contract is secure and functions as intended.
