Earning money as a trader can be rewarding, but it also carries risks. Here’s a guide to help you get started:

    1. **Educate Yourself**: Begin by gaining a strong understanding of the financial markets. Study books, take courses, and follow reputable financial news sources to learn about trading strategies, analysis, and market dynamics.

    2. **Choose Your Market**: Decide which financial market you want to trade in. Common options include stocks, forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Each has its unique characteristics and risks.

    3. **Select a Trading Style**: Determine your preferred trading style. Options include day trading (short-term), swing trading (mid-term), or long-term investing. Your choice should align with your risk tolerance and time commitment.

    4. **Create a Trading Plan**: Develop a comprehensive trading plan that includes your goals, risk management strategy, entry and exit criteria, and position sizing rules. Stick to your plan to avoid impulsive decisions.

    5. **Risk Management**: Protect your capital by setting stop-loss orders to limit potential losses. Only risk a small percentage of your capital on each trade, typically 1-2%.

    6. **Choose a Broker**: Find a reputable online broker that offers access to your chosen market. Ensure they have competitive fees, good customer service, and a user-friendly trading platform.

    7. **Practice with a Demo Account**: Before risking real money, practice your trading strategy on a demo account provided by your broker. This helps you gain experience without financial risk.

    8. **Technical and Fundamental Analysis**: Learn how to analyze markets using both technical (price charts, indicators) and fundamental (economic data, news events) analysis.

    9. **Start Small**: When you begin trading with real money, start with a small account size. This allows you to gain experience while minimizing potential losses.

    10. **Continuous Learning**: Stay updated with market news, trends, and trading strategies. The financial markets are dynamic, and staying informed is crucial.

    11. **Emotional Control**: Keep emotions like greed and fear in check. Emotional decisions often lead to poor trading outcomes. Stick to your plan and avoid impulsive actions.

    12. **Diversification**: Don’t put all your funds into a single asset or trade. Diversify your portfolio to spread risk.

    13. **Record Keeping**: Maintain a trading journal to track your trades, strategies, and outcomes. This helps you analyze your performance and make improvements.

    14. **Tax Considerations**: Be aware of tax implications on your trading profits. Consult a tax professional to ensure compliance with tax laws.

    15. **Continuous Evaluation**: Periodically review your trading plan and performance. Adjust your strategy as needed based on your results and market conditions.

Remember that trading carries inherent risks, and there are no guarantees of profits. Many traders experience losses before becoming consistently profitable. It’s essential to approach trading with a disciplined and well-thought-out strategy. If you’re new to trading, consider seeking advice from experienced traders or a financial advisor.

Yes, TON (The Open Network) remains strong and relevant. Originally developed by the team behind Telegram, it has evolved and improved over time. With its scalability, fast transactions, and low fees, TON is a strong contender for decentralized apps (dApps) and services. Its active community and consistent development contribute to its staying power. Additionally, its growing use in NFTs and DeFi projects highlights its increasing relevance. However, it still faces stiff competition from other major blockchains, so its future will depend on continued innovation and adoption.

    1. ARB ETH typically refers to an arbitrage opportunity involving Ethereum (ETH), where traders exploit price differences between different exchanges or markets involving Ethereum.

    2. ARB ERC-20 could refer to a cryptocurrency token that is built on the Ethereum blockchain using the ERC-20 standard. It represents a specific type of token on the Ethereum network and can have various purposes, not necessarily related to arbitrage.

So, one relates to arbitrage trading with Ethereum, while the other refers to a specific type of token on the Ethereum blockchain. They are distinct concepts.

There were a few key factors that caused the extreme fluctuations and crash of the Terra LUNA cryptocurrency in May 2022:

    • Death spiral with UST stablecoin – Terra’s algorithmic stablecoin UST lost its peg to $1 as sell pressure mounted. To maintain the peg, more LUNA had to be rapidly minted and sold, crashing its price.
    • Highly correlated ecosystem – LUNA and UST were deeply integrated in a complex ecosystem of financial applications. Issues with UST quickly cascaded across the ecosystem.
    • Bank run – Loss of faith in UST led to a rapid bank run as holders redeemed UST en masse for USD, draining reserves.
    • Relied on growth – The UST peg was maintained largely through continued rapid growth in adoption. Once growth stalled, the peg became unstable.
    • Failed recovery efforts – Attempts to restore the peg like large bitcoin purchases only created short-lived boosts before failing again.
    • Speculation – Many investors bought UST seeking to profit from the 20% yields, amplifying sell pressure as the crisis unfolded.
    • Lack of reserves – Despite claims of being fully backed, UST did not have sufficient reserves to maintain the $1 peg under heavy redemption volumes.
    • Poor risk management – The risks and imbalances of having algorithmic stablecoins in the ecosystem were not well-managed.

The factors combined in a perfect storm, causing the Terra ecosystem to unravel within a few days, resulting in billions in losses. The event highlighted the risks of algorithmic stablecoins.

Cryptocurrency is basically a medium of exchange, but over time the function of crypto has also changed, apart from being an investment instrument, it is also often used as a money transfer, especially for relatives who are abroad, quickly and at a cheaper cost (USDT). The value of crypto assets is determined mainly by the market (supply and demand), although currently there are also factors that can influence the value of crypto such as government regulations, tweets from famous people, etc. The popularity of cryptocurrencies is also determined by their community, the more users spread throughout the world, the more stable and popular the crypto value will be.

Traders like to make use of indicators in their trading but, oftentimes, they resent the fact that they “lag the market”. This question again came up during last night’s webinar on Moving Averages.

Keep in mind, that all indicators are going to “lag the market” to a greater or lesser degree since they are all based on an average of price action that has already taken place. Moreover, the longer the chart time frame we use or the greater the number of periods analyzed by the indicator, the more of a lag that we will see.

Even though every trader would like to be in on the very first pip of a move, it is fine to miss the initial move that a pair makes in favor of entering a trade that has a greater level of confirmation behind it.

In the crypto world, we have a saying: “Don’t try to catch a falling knife.” If you try to enter at the very first pip of a move, you’re essentially guessing where the floor is. Waiting for confirmation is like letting the knife hit the ground and move a bit before you pick it up—it’s much safer for your fingers (and your wallet).
