The best ones are usually well-known platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or Fiverr, where you can find real clients and projects. If a site seems fake or asks for money upfront without proof of work, it’s probably not legit. Always do a bit of research, check reviews, and trust your gut before committing to any site.

I don't think I make much online now because I don't work on so much sites except here and trendri. So it might just be me making like $0.50!cents daily. I have been doing other things online. Most times it isnt even money related. I like to just do diverse things daily to beat boredom

The fuel price in Nigeria has become something else, the price keeps increasing, and it has gotten to the point where most families cannot even avoid fueling their cars and generators they way they want to. To make matters worse, the power supply is also extremely poor, these days most people are now leaning towards the use of solar panels to generate power cause the fuel is becoming too expensive for them to handle repeatedly.

If you’re a graphic designer, don’t joke with your laptop specs—lag can kill creativity. Here’s the kind of machine you need to work fast and handle tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, CorelDRAW, or Figma smoothly:

Minimum Recommended Specs for a Graphic Design Laptop (2025):

    • Processor (CPU):
Intel Core i7 (12th Gen or newer) or AMD Ryzen 7 – avoid Core i3/i5 if you work with heavy files or video.
    • RAM:
16GB minimum – 32GB if you handle large layered PSDs or do 3D/animation.
    • Graphics Card (GPU):
      Dedicated GPU is a must.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or higher. Better: RTX 3060 or 4050.
(Avoid laptops with only “Intel UHD” or “AMD Radeon Vega” graphics.)
    • Storage (SSD):
At least 512GB SSD. 1TB SSD if you store many design files locally. SSD is non-negotiable for speed.
    • Display:
15.6” Full HD (1920×1080) IPS panel.
Color-accurate screen (100% sRGB or AdobeRGB) is key. OLED is a big bonus.
    • Ports:
At least 1 USB-C, 2 USB-A, HDMI, and SD card slot. Many design gadgets (cameras, tablets) depend on these.
    • Battery Life:
6–8 hours minimum if you move around. But most powerful laptops don’t last that long unplugged.
    • Operating System:
Windows 11 or macOS (depending on preference).
MacBook Pro (M1/M2/M3) is great for creatives, but pricey.

Example of Solid Laptops for Graphic Designers (As of 2025):

    • MacBook Pro 14″ (M2 Pro) – Best all-rounder for design, especially if you use Figma, Adobe, and work in ecosystem.
    • ASUS Vivobook Pro 16X OLED (Ryzen 9 / RTX 4060) – Power + color accuracy in one.
    • Dell XPS 15 or 17 – Premium design machine with great display.
    • HP Spectre x360 or Envy 16 – For touchscreen + stylus creatives.
    • MSI Creator Z16 or Lenovo Legion Pro – Built for content creators and graphic pros.

    Blunt advice:
Don’t buy those ₦300k – ₦400k laptops for serious design work. They’ll freeze, crash, and waste your time. If budget is tight, go for a used MacBook Pro 2019+ or hunt deals for Ryzen 7 laptops with dedicated GPU.

Your tools are only as good as your machine. Don’t let specs hold your creativity back.
