    I think that if you are writing a blog, then you are guest blogging. Blogs are usually long articles that are posted in a personal blog or a blog within a website. If you are writing for a blog that is not yours, then that is guest blogging. You may take credit for the particular blog, but you don’t own the website or personal blog.

    As for posts, they are usually considered as short posts like we do in forums. We are recognized as the writers of those posts but they forum is not ours.

    This should not be confused with ghostwriting where you don’t take credit or copyright to the work you did, you hand it over to your client..
