Using a bank as your investment agent is basically letting them manage or guide your money into safer options like savings plans, fixed deposits, or mutual funds. You start by opening an account and asking about their investment products, then choose one based on how much risk you can handle. The benefit is it’s more secure and less stressful than doing everything yourself, but the downside is returns are usually lower and there may be fees. It’s a good option if you want steady growth without constantly monitoring the market, especially as a beginner.

PayPal in Nigeria works, but it’s limited compared to other countries. With a Nigerian PayPal account, you can mostly use it for sending money and paying for goods/services online, but you usually cannot receive money like freelancers in the US or UK do.
For example, you can link your Nigerian debit card (GTBank, Access, UBA, Zenith, etc.) and use PayPal to pay on websites like AliExpress, Spotify, Apple services, or foreign stores that accept PayPal. If you have PayPal balance (from refunds or small credits), you can also use it to pay online.
The big issue is that PayPal Nigeria accounts are often send-only, meaning international clients can’t easily pay you through PayPal unless you use a PayPal account registered in another supported country.
Also, PayPal sometimes holds transactions for security reasons, and if they suspect suspicious activity (VPN, wrong country info, or multiple logins), they can limit your account and request documents.
Best advice: If you’re in Nigeria and you want to receive international payments, PayPal is not the best option. People usually use Payoneer, Wise, Grey, or crypto USDT.

Usually, it works again after a short while, so it’s more of a temporary glitch than a serious issue.

Sharing a bank account with another person can make managing money easier because both people can contribute to and track expenses in one place. It’s often helpful for couples or family members who share regular costs like rent, bills, or savings goals, since it improves transparency and reduces the need for constant transfers. It can also simplify budgeting because everything is centralized. However, it only works well when there is strong trust and clear agreement on how the money will be used.
