    At the end of the day, i think it depends on the individual. While having an ATM card makes it easier to gain access to your money and spend it, not having it might still not change anything. For most of my bank accounts, i don’t have ATM cards on most of my accounts but i still have easy access to it through the bank app or ussd code, so i still end up spending a lot. At the end of the day, it boils down to self control and discipline.

    I have received money through PayPal xoom two times now, and i must say, the experience was pretty okay and fast. You need to ensure the person who is sending the money needs to use your correct name that is in your identity card, and also send you the transaction number. This is what the bank needs to confirm the transaction. In Nigeria, the money comes in through RIA. So ensure you tell the bank ria and not PayPal xoom.
