Trust me, when you start making more money, saving for big projects gets easier and you will still afford your daily expenses. So the secret is in increasing your income through adding more streams of income.

Of course, Growing your own food is a healthy way to save money and enjoy fresh produce at home. When done correctly, even the smallest backyard plot can produce copious amounts of fruits and vegetables and possibly even a significant saving to the grocery budget. One of the main factors in startup costs is going to be the size of your garden. An apartment balcony garden is going to be a lot less expensive to start up than a full backyard setup. But you’ll also get a lot less use out of it.

A freelancer’s earnings are always unstable as it depends on whether or not they get jobs done. On those days that they get clients and earn well, their income is high. But sometimes they don’t get clients or the ones they get don’t pay much, that means their income gets low that month.

Freelancers need to be aware of this so that they can plan on how they will spend money each time they get it. Better still, they may need to get more stable sources of income then use freelance work as extra sources of income, that is if they will get time for it.

It may also be great for them to practice bulk shopping and paying bills ahead. That is when they get fat pay checks, they prioritize the future needs and expenses so as to cover those times when they may not earn much.

If you are confused about which one is better between an emergency fund and insurance, it would be better for us to discuss the differences first.
    1. Liquidity level
Most emergency savings are often kept in special accounts and some are in the form of investments such as deposits, bonds, money market mutual funds etc. So it is easily accessible and more liquid than insurance. Emergency funds are also more flexible and can be used for anything, for example hospital costs, houses destroyed by earthquakes, car accidents and major damage, while insurance is not flexible only for certain expenses, such as health insurance cannot be used for car repairs.

    2. Coverage
Emergency funds have no coverage so if you get sick you have to pay for it yourself, sometimes larger hospital fees can drain all of your wealth.

    3. Not all types of diseases are covered by insurance, and in general, treatment can only be used at certain hospitals that have collaborated with insurance companies.

Which is better Emergency Fund or Insurance?
Which one is better will depend on your financial condition, if you already have money in the bank and investment instruments, of course insurance will be better. But if your financial condition is not healthy, but your body is healthy and doesn’t get sick easily, it would be better for you to choose an emergency fund.

However it is absolutely not good and necessary for an individual to take emergency saving phones account as his or her regular savings account because they are meant for emergency purposes and until emergency activities happens that is when an individual is entitled to touch money like this. For example emergencies that could occur which will demand the requesting from phones that are for emergency purposes could be accident issues leading to unexpected loss of life or possibly an activity that is totally unexpected which is quite monetary demanding.

Cutting down on expenses has to do with getting some things of the table and that will certainly reduce the level of enjoyment.

Maybe the best thing you will do is to get more sources of income for yourself so that you have one and enough and cutting on expenses will not really be necessary

I can assure you that either of them is highly profitable if you play your cards right. You must also be aware that they are both risky businesses and requires a high level of security and commitment.

In addition, you can choose to start any of them on a small scale before you consider expanding it.
