As a Nigerian the standard falls because of  the declining competence and commitment of teachers; there’s the issue of  inadequate provision of facilities; non- maintenance of available facilities; outdated and largely irrelevant curricula;

Another noticeable one is the parents’ nonchalance attitude to children’s schoolwork/activities; lack of interest and laziness by the students.

Falling standard in Nigeria education is really glaring now. the causes of falling standard of education in schools in Nigeria is just too appalling. We just have to blame the government for these internal lapses.

There’s also the issue of  poor school management and administration; poor teaching standard; operating without registration with appropriate formal bodies;
